Mana Dave is a multi-award-winning New Zealand hairstylist and salon owner, widely recognised as one of the country’s leading experts in hair colour, competition work, and industry education. With over 25 years of experience in professional hairdressing, Mana Dave has built a strong reputation for creative excellence, technical precision, and leadership within the New Zealand hair industry.

He is the founder and director of BLAZE, a high-profile hair salon located in Newmarket, Auckland, which he has successfully led for more than 16 years. Under his direction, BLAZE has become known for delivering premium hair services, innovative colour work, and developing emerging talent.

Mana Dave is a Lead Redken Artist, educating globally and representing the brand on the international stage. He has presented and educated across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia, sharing his expertise in colour, technique, and creative direction with hairdressers worldwide.

In competition, Mana has achieved significant international success. He won the prestigious International Trend Vision Award (ITVA) Platinum Colour Award in London in 2017 and earned a silver medal the previous year in Barcelona. Alongside this, he has secured multiple New Zealand Hairdresser of the Year and Hair Colourist of the Year titles, further cementing his status as a leading figure in the industry.

Beyond his personal achievements, Mana Dave is deeply committed to education and mentorship.

Over the past two years, he has collaborated with Industry Collective, delivering high-quality education throughout New Zealand to consistently sold-out workshops.
